Police seek public assistance, increase reward for information involving September homicide

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Police continue to investigate a homicide that occurred in Charlotte on September 3 and are now increasing the reward for anyone with information that could help solve the case.

CMPD announced on Wednesday that they had raised the reward amount to $6,500 for information involving the death of Juordan Malik Hill.

Hill was shot while standing in the parking lot of a West Charlotte apartment complex on Pruitt St. around 8:00 p.m. Surveillance footage caught images of a vehicle fleeing the scene that police believe was involved with the incident.

The vehicle is believed to be a white, early 1990’s model Chevrolet Caprice.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call 704-432-TIPS and speak directly to a Homicide Unit Detective or to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
